Wrestling has deep roots in Pakistani culture, from local kushti traditions to Olympic-style freestyle competition. The Next Olympian is searching nationwide for athletes with the strength, technique, and tenacity to compete at the highest level.

What Trials Involve

Coaches assess strength, technique, and competitive instinct through guided sparring and skill drills. Experience in traditional or freestyle wrestling is welcome but not required — raw athletic ability matters most.

Who Can Apply

Any Pakistani athlete with wrestling experience or strong athletic potential can register, regardless of city or background. Trials are free to attend.

What Happens Next

Standout wrestlers move into structured training under coaches partnered with the Pakistan Sports Board, building toward provincial and national-level competition.
