Hockey Trials — Reviving a National Legacy

Pakistan has a proud Olympic hockey legacy, and The Next Olympian is searching nationwide to help rebuild it. We’re looking for athletes with speed, stick skills, and field awareness to revive the sport’s standing on the world stage.

What Trials Involve

Coaches evaluate ball control, passing accuracy, speed, and game sense through drills and scrimmage play. Whether you’ve played at school level or learned informally, genuine skill is what counts.

Who Can Apply

Any Pakistani athlete with hockey experience or strong field-sport potential can register, regardless of city or background. Trials are free to attend.

What Happens Next

Standout players move into structured coaching under partners aligned with the Pakistan Sports Board, building toward provincial and national-level competition.
